Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service

Thank you to Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service who signed the charter on 28th February 2018 providing protection for their 800 employees.

Chief Fire Officer, Nathan Travis, said:

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation

Thank you to Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation who signed the charter on 13th February 2018 providing protection for their 5,400 employees.

Chief Executive of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS, Bev Humphrey, said:
“We are proud to sign up to the Dying to Work campaign. As a mental health trust it is vital that we provide our staff with as much support as possible during such difficult circumstances. If we can make life a little easier and take away any stress or worry about day-to-day life, we are happy to do it.”

Treetops Hospice Care

Thank you to Treetops Hospice Care who signed the charter on 7th February 2018 providing protection for their 158 employees.

Chief Executive, George Cameron, said:

It is vital that we value our employees all of the time and not just while they are at work. Being diagnosed with a terminal illness is devastating not only to the affected individual but also the wider family and friends. Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service

Thank you to Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service who signed the charter on 29th January 2018 providing protection for their 479 employees.

University Hospitals North Midlands NHS Trust

Thank you to University Hospitals North Midlands NHS Trust who signed the charter on 21st December 2017 providing protection for their 10,624 employees.

HR Director, Ro Vaughan, said:
“Working in close partnership with our staff-side colleagues, we’re pleased to be part of the Trade Union Congress campaign and to ensure all of our staff get the support they need should they be terminally ill. These are the staff who need the greatest support. We believe that every member of staff battling a terminal condition deserves the choice of how to spend their final months.”

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Thank you to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust who signed the charter on 20th December 2017 providing protection for all of their employees.

SPC Chair, Sarah Harrington-Pollock, said:
“We heard about the Charter and felt that it fitted very well with the Trust’s values. It puts into words some of the things that the Trust does anyway and, in signing the charter and displaying it on the corridors of the hospital, it allows us to make that commitment in a very visual and public way.
