Campaigner Jacci Woodcock has set up Dying to Work after her former employers tried to encourage her to quit when she was diagnosed with terminal disease
When Jacci Woodcock heard her breast cancer had returned and she had only a year to live, it never occurred to her to stop working.
“I knew I needed the stimulation and distraction of work,” she says. “But it felt as if my company had other ideas. They appeared to have no concern at all for me as a dying person. They could have supported me until my death, but they just tried to wear me down so I would leave.
